The 0.7 version has become an almost complete rewrite. I wrote the initial 0.5 version over about a month, and it shows. There are shortcuts I took that are not compatible with wanted/needed features (like pagination - oops - and plugins).

Anyhow, 0.7 is definitely still coming and the project has not been abandoned. It will be made available on GitHub (http://github.com/indyarmy/) and here as soon as it's ready.

If it helps, the remaining features that need to be finished before the 0.7 release include a re-vamped administration section, security (the ACL class is working, just needs to be hooked in), more plugin hooks added (plugins are otherwise functional now), providing an upgrade path due to database changes, and improving the template flexibility (including adding AJAX responses to the default template - no more refreshes when you vote!). There are a few smaller things to be added as well, like turning links typed in comments into actual clickable links and providing plugin support for Markdown or Textile markup and TinyMCE for the admin section, but those will generally just be built-in plugins that can be updated and added seperately from the main codebase.

Thanks for your patience :) And junkbond, I keep missing you on IRC - you can probably catch me on #noostr or #indyarmy (Freenode) afternoons and evenings, Mountain time.

Doesn't seem to be under development any more.

Yup, which sucks. I thought this project had some potential.
